I've been working in Information Technology for twenty years. For the last eight years, I have specialized in Linux Clusters, Grid Computing, High Performance Computing and all things UNIX. When my head isn't in the clouds, I'm either cooking gourmet food, gardening, reading, or sleeping.
IBM has announced that it is teaming up with Univa to offer an enterprise-friendly version of the Globus Toolkit with their Linux and UNIX servers. Additionally, IBM will use Globus internally, presumably to manage the resources they offer as part of their Deep Computing on-demand product.
